Big Boy Bed!

Well we finally did it. We put Brixon is his toddler bed. I don't think he really wanted to make the move either. He wanted his " rib" He stayed in it all night which is something I was scared to death of. He rolled out twice, but thanks be to his big stuffed puppy, he had a smooth landing. I will have to take a picture and post it. I am so proud of him!!! Tonight it has taken him a little longer to fall asleep, but he didn't get up. :) Have a wonderful night.

Four Years TODAY!!!

Today, Clay and I celebrated our four year anniversary. This day four years, the first day of deer season, was one of the most beautiful days of my life. I will always remember that day and the day our son was born. What memories. Yes, Clay and I got married on the first day of deer season and you would have thought my family was going to have a heart attack. Everyone showed up, maybe not dressed in wedding attire but they were there. Some in camo, some just out of the woods in orange. To top it all off, guess who game me away..... "her mother and I, and the Missouri Department of Conservation. Boy, did my dad get the crowd rollin. Anyway.... Love you Honey, you are my best friend and I love you soooo much!!

Weekend Update

I really wish I had my camera fixed.... :( Well our separation went really well. Brixon cried when we left, but by the time he and granny got back to the kitchen that was all she wrote. Brixon had a great time with Granny and papa. He got to ride the tractor and move hay bales, ride the lawn mower and go to the fish hatchery. He was really good they said. Now we really missed our little buddy, but had a good time as well. We went to SDC when we got there and was able to ride a few rides. Then the temperature dropped below 40 and caused several of the rides to shut down. So we leftw and was able to do some shopping. Actually that is about all we did this weekend. e did get what we were looking for..... a swing set. Brixon wants one really bad. So if he is good Santa might deliver :)

A weekend apart.

This weekend Clay and I will be traveling to Branson to celebrate our 4th anniversary. Clay is feeling a little under the weather so pray he gets to feeling better. Mr. Brixon will be staying the weekend with PaPa and Granny Barner. Tqhis will be the first time we have left him. Now we did leave him for a couple of days with Granny when he was three months old, but he didn't know to get upset, if you know what I mean. This could be tough on all of us. However, Brixon is excited to go see PaPa and Granny and show them his new haircut. He is also excited about riding the tractor and playing w/ beau, (their boston terrier). We will let you know how it goes. Have a wonderful weekend.

Two Hair cuts in 3 days!

A week ago today Brixon and I went to get his hair cut. He did really well considering his past experience w/ doctors which has carried over to anyone who tries to touch him. He did really well and looked so handsome. On Saturday Clay needed a hair cut which I have done since we got married. Some good some bad, but cheap. I had got Clays hair pretty much to the finishing point and we went to the bathroom to check it out. I was there maybe a minute and ask Clay "where is Brixon" and head back to the office where I was cutting Clays hair. Brixon is sitting in the chair with the clipper box on his lap and the clippers going off. I unplug them and pick him up and start crying. Brixon has taken 4 or 5 big chunks out of he hair. Two place he actually got skin and he cut his ear. I take him to Clay and Clay is laughing, I am crying b/c it was really bad and poor Brixon looks like, what in the world did I do? I call my cousin a beautician here in Lebanon to fix both boys up. Needless to say Brixon ended up will a PaPa Barner hair cut shaved all over w/ a little top not. I call it a true Army hair cut. Unfortunately my camera has quit and I can't post pics. Hopefully it will get fixed soon! Hope everyone is well. Take care. Love and prayers to all.

Family Update!!

I haven't posted in awhile but said I was going to start doing so more.....so here we go!!
Things are going good. Work in the banking industry is busy these days. That is about all of my excitement.
Brixon is singing up a storm.... Jesus Loves Me, Happy Birthday, Twinkle, Twinkle Little star. We took him to Silver Dollar City this weekend to ride some rides. He loves it there. It was really nice, around 65 degrees and sunny.
He is so funny!!! He is the best thing ever. He loves playing hide and seek, but never likes to seek. Grandpa Barner got a tractor and Brixon is very excited about that.
Clay and the baseball team were awarded their banners for 3rd in State and District, Semi and Regional champs. That was a cool experience for him. Makes him and the team feel really good.
Halloween is around the corner and Brixon is going to be Spiderman (piderman as he puts it)
OH,...Oh... my excitment. We got a new BED!!!!! We had one that the mattress were probably 30 years old and it was a full size. We upgraded to a KING!!! It is supper nice and we have been sleeping really good.
That is all I can think of now. Hope everyone is doing good.

Thank God for this Day!!

There is so much to be thankful for.

I have a loving husband and our precious son Brixon. We are healthy and have food on our table and a roof over our head. I thank God so much for all of this. Without him nothing is possible.

You know, sometimes I think we all take these things for granted. I just want to say......Thank you Lord for everything you have given us. I pray that you will be with me that I may give in return by leading someone else to you. You are so good to us. Thank you!!!

Baseball Update

I wish I had some pictures to share. Baseball is in full swing now and the Conway Bears are 7 and 1. They came off an awesome win last night beating 2nd in State for three years in a row, the Stoutland tigers. That was one of those wins you feel really good about and the boys played really well. We have two more games this week against Morrisville and Norwood. Hope these turn out just as good... I will try and take some pictures of our Awesome coach and Daddy!!! Hope everyone is doing well and if you get a second read Grantons blog, (attached) to hear the exciting news!!!

Short and Exciting Weekend.

Well baseball is in full swing which means daddy is away a lot more. So Brixon and I decided to go visit PaPa and Granny Barner this weekend. Daddy's team did win the tournament and Brixon was able to catch six fish, so he says. He is a true fisherman, I think he caught 3 or maybe 4. He did get to see papa make some good bait throws which racked up about 40 baby fish. He enjoys playing with those just as much as reeling in a big fish. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care and we will talk to you soon.
